Minimum Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification:
    A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or an NQF Level 4 equivalent.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Computer literacy is essential.
    • Understanding of clerical duties.
    • Knowledge of the legal framework governing public service.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Capturer, the successful candidate will provide critical administrative and data management support. Your role will include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Capturing and updating data from official records into digital formats like spreadsheets and databases.
  • Reviewing and verifying data entries for accuracy and consistency.
  • Submitting data entries and performing regular backups to ensure data integrity.
  • Maintaining organised records, files, registers, and statistics.
  • Supporting the verification team with source documents and files when needed.
  • Collecting and sorting applications for default judgments and taxation.
  • Sorting and distributing incoming data for equitable processing.
  • Providing data and administrative support to internal departments and responsible personnel.

This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and accessibility of legal data and supports the smooth functioning of court operations.
