University of KwaZulu-Natal
The University of KwaZulu-Natal was formed on January 1, 2004, when the University of Durban-Westville merged with the University of Natal. The new university brings together the rich histories of the two previous institutions. The university is divided into four Colleges, each with 19 Schools and overseen by a Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Head of College.

Application Information
All applications to UKZN are done online. Manual applications are not accepted except for campus changes and some postgraduate programs. Application inquiries can be directed to enquiries@ukzn.ac.za.
Application Deadlines for 2024 and 2025
- 2024 Application Deadline for Medicine: 30 June 2024
- 2025 Application Deadlines: To be announced, typically similar to previous years.

- For all professional degrees, you cannot start a new degree in the second semester.
